WHO WE ARE
Carol Omand is an International Storyline Consultant, Trainer and Author of two books. She has over 40 years’ experience in education including teaching from nursery to upper primary school, lecturing at university for Initial Teacher Education, Headteacher. She is a skilled deliverer of in-service training, available to work worldwide with proven skills, creativity, energetic leadership and an open mind.
Carol has been invited to work in a number of countries with the specific task of training student teachers and teachers in the Storyline Approach as a vehicle for raising attainment by developing creativity, problem solving and higher order thinking skills.
Carol is Chairperson of the International Storyline Leadership team, working with colleagues to promote, support and continue to develop Storyline throughout many countries. She has worked to promote Storyline development with Østfold University College, Norway, Backatorpsskolan, Sweden, and previously with Stirling University, Scotland, and supporting colleagues in Iceland, Belgium and Greece. She has recently delivered Storyline training in schools in England and Scotland. She is lead author for part of a new Norwegian Storyline Anthology for teachers.
Carol has delivered presentations and workshops at Storyline Conferences in Stockholm, Glasgow and Ljubljana and recently Keynotes in Greece and Sweden.
